we received the water quality report from Jennifer Ketterman's office today.the enterococci count at the Ecola Court outfall pipe, west on Gower street beach access' is above the 'safe ' limit again. our previous attempts to get the city of Cannon Beach to post a warning at the site have been unsuccessful ( no response in any form)Michael Manzulli and the Surfrider group are now helping to get some action.we are also contacting the city again, and this time copying to mayor and city councilthis is a public hazard , especially to children, and although the main tourist season is over, children will still play in that area.

A cloudy day with intermittent mist, with comfortable temperatures and light human activity for a summer day made the mile walk very enjoyable.
