its definitely the busiest time on the beach, and with warmer weather in the offing, we will see more activity. we are also concerned about some remnants of fireworks near the beachfire sites. we will have to check with Cannon Beach residents living near the shore whether they have noticed much activity. nothing in the police reports.

update on Ecola Court OUtfallelevated ( above 158) were7/19----2017/26----2768/2-----733 and 3088/9-----461Jennifer Ketterman's agency has included a 'area of concern Ecola Court OUtfall' to her regular beach water quality report. We are still working with the city on this, so far no additional signage has been posted to warn of the contamination. We have prepared a flyer with pertinent information, and will try to spend some time at the site and warning people when we see kids playing in the area.
