Report Details

we are monitoring the Ecola and Tolovana Outfalls.while we have numbers from the city of Cannon Beach and the State for the Ecola Outfall, the city has not responded to our request to share their test results for the Tolovana Outfall. Both sites continue to be popular play sites for children. the recent numbers for Ecola were; 8/5- 410, 6/7-124, 8/13-156, 8/19 260.Rebecca Hillwig from the State included a warning on frequently elevated numbers of Tolovana Outfall area in her most recent report. we would like to see some testing done at those sites. while the signs seem to deter some people, we don't think of this as a permanent solution, unless tests show there is little that can be done to trace the source.
