Report Details

I don't know the species of the whale. I would like you to inform me. It is a baleen-type, as can be seen by looking at the mouth. It is located 3/4 mi. S. of Otter Point.There is a wound (shown in whalepic03 and 04) that is very deep and has smooth edges. It does not look like something that birds do when feeding. The whale is approx. 24 ft. long.
