There were 16 people enjoying the nice day on the beach.This was the first day that I saw Brown Pelicans on Gull Rock this year.  I counted about 80 pelicans.  There were no sea stars on the rocks at Arch Cape.The sand levels were at their highest level so far this year.

Notable Wildlife

About 80 Brown Pelicans were on Gull Rock. On Sept. 10th the pelicans left the Gull Rock. On Sept. 11 there were about 50 pelicans on Gull Rock. There were no sea stars on Arch Cape rocks.
