Healthy beach at minus tide. More sand washed in.I could walk around as well as through the Arch Cape.@100 pelicans sitting on and circling Castle Rock,Noted: Absence of the Common Murres which in other years "nest" by the hundreds on the Bird Rocks. Not a single one visible so far this year.

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: -1.4 feet.

Notable Wildlife

2 bald eagles sitting on a tree snag along the beach. Oyster catcher, gulls, 2 cormorants.Lots of mussels, barnacles, starfish at minus tide.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Wood pieces.

The wrack line contained small (2-4") crab casings, clam shells and broken sand dollars. There was a small land slide near a house drain line - see picture. The sand level was low on the north end of mile 307 which leaves the rocks uncovered.
