This report is mainly to illustrate the sand accumulation over the past 2 years. At a minus tide one can walk on sand around the outer Arch Cape rocks. These photos were taken at a 2.0 tide (as seen from Cove Beach) and at a -0.5 tide the next day as seen from Arch CapeThe following day (08/31/15) I took a photo from Arch Cape Beach to the north, noticing all the sand continuing into Cove Beach: Tide -0.5. One could walk around (west of) all the Arch Cape rock formations on sand to Cove Beach.

Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 2.0 feet.

Natural Changes

Landslides/major boulder falls.

Actions & Comments

There seems to be a fresh rock fall at about south end of the tunnel level.
