About a dozen tepees of heavier driftwood piled up in preparation for controlled burning of same, as preventative for driftwood fires. One last summer damaged three bluffside homes.

Hardly any visible plastic/foam detritus. I note the starfish because a die-off seems to have reached Oregon (California and Washington preceded ours).

A visitor to the site submitted the following information:There has been an unusually high number of sand dollar shells on the beach recently. We have never seen this before.
