Very little human-made debris on beach. Folks were being very respectful of plover restrictions.

Temperature: 60 F. Tide Level: -0.8 feet.

Concerns
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea). Debris on beach was sparse and scattered. Large wood pieces were stacked up against base of foredune. Sand fleas hopping around transition between wet and dry sand.

It was very windy and rainy with just one person observed walking in the distance towards the southern end of the mile.

From the entrance to the beach from the state park, walking north, I saw about 40 people, eight dogs, three horses, lots of washed up upside-down crabs, and several small beached jellyfish.
