The beach was very wide and clean.

The beach was very wide and clean. There were no dead birds, little wrack, and a minimum of human litter. The only organisms besides a few gulls were jellyfish below the surfline, with a greater concentration of those toward the jetty south of this mile. Otherwise the beach looked normal for this time of year.

A nice bright day with a large group of birders from 30 cars looking for Snowy Plovers when I started but only 13 people walking or sitting on the beach on my way back.
