Report Details

What a dreary first full day of Fall on Rockaway Beach . . . although we are supposed to be in for a stretch of very fine weather. Besides me and my dog, only one other person braved the soaking rain and wind. The beach looks good and much sand has covered the large rocks at the bottom of the riprap. We'll see what this winter has in store! It was good to see that all the sticky, brown foam that came in with each tide earlier this month was finally gone.
