Report Details

Lots of people...and seagulls, getting a head start on Labor Day.  Saw about 60 people and an equal number of seagulls (only grouping was at Rock Creek), and 10-20 crows.  Some clumps of seaweed at the driftline, plus the usual shells, rocks, wood pieces, and a few jellyfish...just the natural stuff you expect to see.  Most of the stuff left by humans was concentrated near the Rockaway Beach Wayside, but we only collected 1/2 bag.  The community has done well in keeping up with the additional debris resulting from the Summer influx of tourists...hope it's clean after Labor Day too.
