Large amount of errosion to the coastline, logs and trees have been moved around due to our recent King Tides and High surf.
Conditions
Temperature: 47 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -0.3 feet.

Concerns
Notable Wildlife
One blue heron fishing on the shore. Always some seagulls hunting and a few crows.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. There are some very large wood pieces that have been moved and rearranged due to our winter King Tides and High Surf.
New Development
Steps down bluff, Bluff development. Many changes to the bluff and erosion to the the shores King Tides being a big factor.
Man-made Modifications
Riprap and shoreline protection needed to be repaired at the Shorewood Park and some of the neighbors as a result of the King Tides and High Surf.
Natural Changes
Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Evidence of wave overtopping. One of the main runoffs at marker 27F has been redirected to the North and then to the ocean this is also causing erosion to the bluff lines.
Actions & Comments
Noted much errosion to the shoreline meeting the bluffs and also very large logs trees and wood debris. Our King Tides and high surf has made a large impact on Rockaway Beach and other local beaches.

Mile 292 was in great condition no trash and many people out enjoying the warmer evening with low tides and a beautiful sunset

Noticed what seem to be an elk carcass but mostly just the hide or pelt maybe some bones mid size.
