Mile 290 Report
June 19, 2020
This was my 1st time back on my mile since February.
Report Details
This was my 1st time back on my mile since February. Lack of trash was surprising to me(see the photo of what I picked up) Driftwood on the shore was minimal. We have had a lot of windy days with abundant sand movement which may have buried trash and driftwood. I believe lack of human traffic has allowed for the plants to expand out into the sand a good 20-30 feet (see 3 photos of plants) There were a lot of dead crab shells, probably the most I have observed on my mile.
