Summary:

There has not been alot of change since my last report.   We have had only one major rain/wind event this fall. This being so, there has been very little debris deposited on the beaches.  I have taken a few photos just for comparison sake.  The steep "bluff" has been filled in with the drifting sands at the S
outhern end of my mile.

There was a 50' section of the drift line that contained Kelp, large barnacles, large mussels and crab. The crab were intact but appeared to have been dead for a while. This section was approx an 1/8 of a mile from the jetty.

It was one of those rare sunny and almost calm winter days.  Erosion has been less severe than last year.  Overtopping brought more drftwood and sand inland than I have observed in the last 5 years...

April 3, 2017 - Foxglove290
There is a lot of erosion that occured over the winter.  It seemed like a lot less driftwood on the beach until I walked the tree line.  There is alot of driftwood 10-20' back into the trees, sand...
