I saw evidance that the surf overtopped the shoreline in the last 24 hours.  This is the 1st time this fall that this has happened.  See photos

It was one of those rare sunny and almost calm winter days.  Erosion has been less severe than last year.  Overtopping brought more drftwood and sand inland than I have observed in the last 5 years...

Visiting Camp Magruder and took advantage of free time to walk mile south to Bar View Jetty. Beach was filled with driftwood. Removed two bags of glass beer bottles and plastic water bottles.
