Temperature: 48 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 1.5 feet.

Very quiet Monday afternoon. Few people make the long walk to Mile 289.

Total stranded mammals: 1. Sea Lion. Mostly gone except fur and bones. Located at south end of mile near foredune.

Natural Changes
No erosion over the winter.
Actions & Comments
Mile 289 continues to grow to the west. The winter storms did not affect vegetation ahead of the present foredune.

I saw so many different types of birds along the jetty, I'm no bird expert but I thought I saw pelicans, herons, cormorants, and sea gulls.
