Very concerning that we observed 14 dead seabirds interspersed with seaweed along the shoreline. We have never seen this before on this stretch of beach.

The beach was extremely clean.  We always have somesort of Goldsworthy type art - this time is lots of cairns and some rocky pictures in the sand.Really pleasant walk!

A perfect day on the coast with a light breeze and sunshine. Lots of folks walking the beach, some with their dogs. A few ladies sunbathing and 2 on horseback. The beach was very, very clean.

  • One of many timbers 2 to 3 meters long, 10 cm on a side, most with complex holes and end mortices, etc.
  • A portion of one beam (approx 2m long, 10 x 10cm on sides, showing elaborate shaping.
