The mile was in really nice shape on this particular trip. There was a bit of sea plastic washed up on the southern edge of it, but otherwise the area was clean of litter. The tides were very low that week, and I was able to observe lots of caves and rock formations that I hadn't noted before. There weren't a lot of tide pool creatures, but I did see more than on previous trips.Also, there were no fishermen on the rocks this time (and there usually are), so that was nice.
