Number of people: 20. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 19. Sitting: 1. Photography: 10. Most people were here to look at the big landslide on the south end of the Oceanside Tunnel.

Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Lots of all of this stuff on the south half of mile 281

Natural Changes

Landslides/major boulder falls. Major landslide here!

Landslide that occurred on Dec 5 has covered most of south entrance from Oceanside Beach to the manmade tunnel under Maxwell point.
