Summary:
Cape Lookout Sand Spit. This mile has lost many feet of sand in height and length to the ocean in the past several years. This mile is now building UP and OUT to the ocean many feet of sand, hurry!

I saw no human activity on this mile, but there was evidence of lots of erosion from our recent king tides and storms.

For 30 years we could see the glow from crab boats at night; now we can see the entire boat plus the water they are riding on! The Cape Lookout Sand Spit is getting narrow at our mile and ajoining...
