Report Details

I am often on the Cape and view mile 262 into 263. I often drive past the other part of 263. The 29 autos is the most I have noted on summer weekends of the past.

Conditions

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 1.0 feet.

Human Activities

Number of people: 12. Number of dogs: 2. Walking or running: 12. 262 & 263 Summer weekends draw jet boaters (sometimes large groups) and, for example, as many as 29 cars/pick-ups weekend before last (as viewed from Cape Kiwanda). With a brisk NW wind there were four para-gliders among them.

Concerns

Apparent violations: tire tracks up Cape Kiwanda saddle north side.
