At high tide, there was no beach in sections.

At high tide, there was no beach in sections. The other photo is taken on my way back of that same stretch of beach but looking north instead of south. On the way, I had to scramble up the bank to avoid the waves. You can see from the second photo that the waves left foam up to the base of the dune.
