Report Details

A wonderful day, warm and no wind. Beach was almost empty, few people. There has been much accumulation of sand, with the water line much further out and 4' to 5' "cliffs" of sand. Very little trash, only 2 pounds of plastic pieces, no substantive debris. Only 4 dead birds, quite old, and no new ones. One very large salmon head, well chewed. (sea lion? seal?) Tire tracks from the car that was stuck in the sand yesterday, reported by another observer to the police. No signs of erosion. No basking sea lions although a couple in the river.
