It was a brisk yet windless afternoon, with a mix of blue and grey overhead.

It was a brisk yet windless afternoon, with a mix of blue and grey overhead. The beach seems scoured with some large patches of rocks covering the sand. Neskowin Creek, which usually chooses a channel either to the north or south of Proposal Rock flowed west directly at the center of the rock and then split around both sides of the rock. There were a few large trees washed high on the beach and suspended on the riprap. I did not find any unusual debris from afar on the beach.
