The beach was clear again today. In fact, we have few clouds and the ocean mist has vanished. The sand was soft about halfway to the water's edge. It has been rather dry here, too, then.

Notable Wildlife

Western Gulls - dozens - flying, being fed, strutting. Heaps of molting crab in various sizes.

Beached Birds

Total dead birds: 1.

Stranded Marine Mammals

This poor fellow had a long beak, black back, white belly - what was left of it. I saw no ID marking.
