Report Details

Conditions

Temperature: 53 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 1.0 feet.

Human Activities

Observed two women collecting massive amounts of sea weed off rocks at low tide at the 15th Street Access, Lincoln City, April 25, between 10 AM and 12 PM. Saw them on my way down the beach and continuing to collect on my way back. Observed multiple 5 gal buckets filled with sea weed and they were obviously either dumping buckets or had more buckets available. Not sure if this is an issue and did not find information on the link above..one link gives error and then re-routes to general site.

Actions & Comments

Took numerous photos but never got good facial photo. I will post a couple but have more. Also tried to identify their car/s but the ones that were there on my way down, seeing the single lady in the pinkish jacket and hat, were not the same vehicles on my way back when the second lady was observed. Might have exchanged vehicles and brought more buckets. Did not engage in conversation.
