Report Details

For being after a busy weekend, the beach was relatively clear of trash -- just a little more appeared to have been blown in around Kyllo’s/D River (north side of river). "Dirty" foam -- I’m by no way an expert, but it appeared that the dirty part was organic in nature. It didn’t appear to be oily and if you really looked at it, it had a "seaweed color."

Conditions

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 3.5 feet.

Notable Wildlife

Lots of Birds : Many (100's) "sunbathing" on the top the buildings along the beach. 80-100 Gulls playing in the D River with 20-30 leisurely walking on the beach near Kyllo’s. They weren’t too disturbed by human presence ... they just bounced off to the side as I walked by, then continued with their gull life after I was gone.
