Report Details

Limited amount of debris on beach.  Several people but not crowded and no unusual activities noted.  Lots of large trees (some burned) seemed to have been washed up after big storm.  Found a sea star out of water and nowhere near water line, so I gently placed him back in water.  Not sure if he was still alive.  Found a large mass of thick rope and tried to pull it away from water line, but it was buried so deep in sand that it was not possible.

Not a bad fall day for a walk with our out-of-town visitors, but walking the beach was impossible due to the high tide and big waves, which were reaching the beach grass area and bouncing large pieces of driftwood around.
