The kind of day that sends tourists to the real estate offices in town. Beach very clean - no refuse around firepits; I collected less than a pound of human-related debris on my mile. Eight Common murre carcasses.

Total dead birds: 8. Common murres - 6 adults, 2 juveniles. All to the south end of mile 236. Two pretty chewed up, the others mostly intact, belly up.

Storm damage for this mile seems mostly at Laurel/Sijota; Morris Excavation has built a roadbed parallel to the bluff for equipment access; some erosion at World Mark, north of state park.
