Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 10.6 feet.
Human Activities
This was the highest tide of the year and there was no beach. Pictures were taken (actually from mile 234, Fishing Rock Headline, looking South) to document the height of the water and power of the waves. It was lucky that this high tide event did NOT correspond to any storm surge

Natural Changes
Evidence of wave overtopping. the sandstone layer at the top of the bluffs is being eroded by waves overtopping the top of the bluff. Small rockfalls are frequent (noticed in other trips subsequently).
