Report Details

No problems noted; no tsunami debris noted on 5/25/2013.On June 2nd I went back to the beach and saw 9 hand-hewn-looking wooden posts and one aquaculture rack. Reported to tsunami team and worked with John Chapman to refine their reporting form, take marine growth samples and measure the pieces. That reporting form is at:http://www.oregonbeachcomber.com/p/report-debris.html(When I went back to measure, 4 pieces were being burned in a beach fire by people; I got them to stop and explained what this wood was. Rules say no fires bigger than 3' x 3'-- and no fires in driftwood piles, but do not say do not use wood pieces larger than X size, which they should; rules are too confusing to people and a fire can be 3 x 3 but the pieces being burned can be much larger and keep on being shoved into the fire part of the fire...I've uploaded two photos to this report; more can be seen athttps://picasaweb.google.com/100796578817944661463/2013June2TsunamiDebri...
