There was no human activity on or near the shoreline.
Report Details
There was no human activity on or near the shoreline. Nothing was observed with respect to wildlife. No physical changes were observed since the last report. The only human activity observed was well away from the shoreline - thus not described previously) - on Otter Crest Loop (old hwy. 101), where there was light traffic including a bicyclist and one person with dog in a van "hanging out", and vehicles coming and going from the Lookout area, where one person in a van with a cat was staying for a time.
Conditions
Temperature: 74 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: E. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.
Human Activities
Other Activities: No people were along shoreline, so there were no activities to record.. There were no vehicles parked in the shoreline access parking just north of mile 226. Note that this parking area is quite removed from the actual shoreline and the shoreline is a somewhat cliffed and rocky one that is difficult to access from the rudimentary trails that exist. And, access is only to a site that is on the extreme south end of mile 227, and not mile 226.

Apparent violations: There were no indications of violations..
Notable Wildlife
No notable wildlife was observed; in fact, no wildlife of any sort was observed.
Driftline Content
Small rocks. With a tide level of plus 4.0, there was driftline observed on only one cobble beach as no beach was exposed otherwise.

Nothing of any sort was observed.

Nothing of any sort was observed.

No natural changes were observed.

No human activity was noted on or near the shoreline, the only activity noted being people driving along Otter Crest Loop, with a few parking for short periods of time at the Lookout at Otter Crest Wayside for the views.

On a nice, fairly calm and partly cloudy day on the central Oregon coast, there were only a few people driving along Otter Crest Loop and even fewer stopping to enjoy the view from the the Lookout at Otter Crest State Scenic Wayside.

It was a very pleasant sunny day and the ocean was calm, so visibility at and slightly below the surface of the ocean was excellent.

There was nobody observed along the shoreline of mile 226, however there were a number of people driving and stopping along Otter Crest Loop, the roadway that provides excellent overviews of the mile.

There were no human activities noted near the shoreline, which is usual for this mile, but there was activity at the Lookout, where there were a moderate number of people parking and going to the viewpoints and into the Lookout building gift shop.

It was a nice day to be observing the coast, what with the moderate temperature, light wind, and clouds that covered the sky thinly.

Humans were only noted well above the shoreline, specifically at the Lookout, where people parked their vehicles to get out for a few minutes to observe the seascapes.

Human activities were essentially confined to those stopping their vehicles on Otter Crest Loop or at the Lookout to observe the views.
