The visitors were following the rules.They were all on the cliff in the park above the Punchbowl. They stayed away fro the closed area of the rim trail.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
