Severe damage to the beach access area from a recent storm. Lots of logs and debris. Unusally severe amount of microplastics on shore.

Number of people: 10. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 6. Other Activities: 4 people collecting debris. Happy to see people cleaning up the debris from the storm.

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Severe amount of debris, especially plastic, following a storm.
Natural Changes
Erosion of vegetated foredune, Evidence of wave overtopping. There had been a big storm recently.
