Report Details

The beach was very rocky with large rocks that are difficult to walk on exposed. There was an unusual amount of debris on the beach, much of it in this rocky area. This beach has always been pretty clean of debris, but today was a different story None of it was obviously tsunami debris, but it is certainly possible that some was. I was not equipped to collect all the debris I saw, but will return in a few days to see if the SOLV beach cleanup picked it up. If not I'll try to haul more of it off the beach. I saw a small group of people walking the beach and three dogs on leash. Erosion of the shoreline continues to be a feature of this beach.
