Report Details
The beach is very sandy, covering large rocks that are visible in the winter months. Very little plastic or man made objects noted on this trip. This beach does not have a large number of people on it. Today I counted 15 people and only one group had put down a blanket and supplies for beach play. We did see a lot of mussel shells with barnacles on them in the drift line. We also saw what looks like broken up jelly fish. Kelp and other algae were evident as well. The biggest physical change was that the creek coming in at the north end of our mile has changed course somewhat and moved south along the beach and curving to the west to the ocean. See Photo
