Report Details

It was another beautiful morning. There were only four people on the Agate Beach end, none in between Agate Beach and Jumpoff Joe, and eleven more on the Nye Beach end. The dogs seemed to be having a wonderful time. Summer has widened the beach. The wrack line was sparse.Note: This report includes a little more than a mile. It runs from Agate Beach Wayside to Nye Beach Turnaround.

Human Activities

Number of people: 23. Number of dogs: 12. Walking or running: 23. Most of the vehicles were at the Nye Beach end. There was one vehicle (I tried to see whether it was official or not and wasn't able to determine that.) There was a child on a small electric-powered vehicle, as well.

A large swath of the bluff is well vegetated with shore pines, willow and native shrubs like silverweed, and black twinberry.
