Mile 216 Report
September 21, 2010
Another humdrum (haven't seen much of interest washed up this summer) day on Nye Beach, except for the eight variegated meadowhawk dragonflies I counted on the dry sand by the Nye Beach turnaround on my way to the starting point of my walk just south of Jumpoff Joe.
Report Details
Another humdrum (haven't seen much of interest washed up this summer) day on Nye Beach, except for the eight variegated meadowhawk dragonflies I counted on the dry sand by the Nye Beach turnaround on my way to the starting point of my walk just south of Jumpoff Joe. Because the weather was reasonably nice there was much human activity in this area to record, so I didn't have time to do a count as part of my official walk. I'm sure I would have seen more if I had zigzagged the dry sand, rather than making a beeline to the starting point.
