The beach was exceptionally clean.
Report Details
The beach was exceptionally clean. Very few birds. We picked up one small bag of garbage. As mentioned earlier we were very distressed over the defacing of the bluffs both north and south of Lost Creek Park.
Conditions
Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -1.7 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 11. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 10. Since our last walk in the fall several areas both north and south of Lost Creek Park have significant writing on bluffs. Most are carved in but one significant one is painted on the bluff. Pictures attached.

Apparent violations: Evidence of climbing and defacing bluffs.Vehicles

Very few birds on the beach.

Total dead birds: 2.

Man-made Modifications
Beachgrass planting or removal. Just past the south boundary of our mile
Actions & Comments
Not sure of the type of beachgrass but a great deal has been planted just below one of the houses at or just past the south boundary of our mile.

We have noticed that during the winter storms the sand on the beach moves (presumably offshore) and then is redeposited during spring.
