Temperature: 53 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 2.5 feet.

Number of people: 5. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 5. A van was parked on the beach near the access across from 130th St (photo attached). I spoke to the woman, who was running her dog, and asked her to move the vehicle since it is not allowed on the beach. She expressed surprise and said she had parked it so there was still emergency access from 101 (as posted on one of the 2 signs). I told her that vehicles were prohibited on this beach (which was stated on the other sign) and she said "but this way if it rains I can stay inside my van while my dog runs on the beach." (It was not raining.) I told her that since it was a state park dogs must be leashed - she said the dog was on an electronic leash. I was polite but firm and also told her there were areas where you can drive/ park on the beach, such as in Lincoln City, but these areas would be posted as such. When we returned she had moved the van off the beach.

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass. The beach was quite clean of debris. There had been a recent period high surf, which might be responsible.
