Report Details

It was a pleasant Sunday evening on Mile 206! Despite the cloudy overcast and wind, several individuals were enjoying the coast. I saw several shorebirds (being undisturbed), 2 sea stars, 3-4 seals beached on a rock several yards into the water, and 5 sand crabs that were alive. It was fun to see so much marie life on my mile this visit. It is the most I have noticed since starting to report on mile 206 this past year. There was barely any human debris on my mile this weekend, which is always nice. The vast majority of debris on the shoreline were sea shells and mussle shells.
