Trail is very steep and difficult to keep footing due to loose gravel. Water from the culvert is growing bright orange algae. Spotted a bald eagle fighting with a gull over food. Several driftwood forts, but not much trash.

We went as a field trip with all our 6th graders from Crestview Heights in Waldport, Oregon. We did notice an abundance of what appeared to be new driftwood.
