Human Activities

Number of people: 8. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 6. Other Activities: Clamming. This is the first time I have seen people digging for clams and/or fishing bait.

Vehicles

Cars/trucks parking: 4.

Notable Wildlife

Unusual plants/sea pods. See photos. This is the first time for me to see these at the Oregon Coast. Please identify. Many by-the-wind sailors along tide lines.

Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Small rocks, Styrofoam, Wood pieces.

Natural Changes

Entrance to park has a creek eroding away the sand leading up to entrance.

No action taken on this. I am assuming that State Parks is taking care of problem/solution.
