On June 10, Mile 195 was walked north and south from Starr Creek. The weather was clear with moderate wind, and 25 persons with 6 dogs were seen walking or sitting. The only unusual wildlife was a turkey vulture feeding on a dead fish. No problems of concern were noticed.

Brush rabbit on 804 trail.Numerous small jellyfish at tide line.

One dead fish, probably salmon, being eaten by a turkey vulture, gulls and crows.

Walking north oh Wayside Lodge I saw 15 or so dead Black Turnstone. That was the only species of bird that was dead. Lots of plastic bottles that I picked up.
