The evening was beautiful, warm, light wind; lots of people enjoying the beach. Once again there was a bit of ancient forest exposed. The surf was quiet and the light from an impending sunset was glorious. I have provided several photos.

Number of people: 36. Number of dogs: 12. Walking or running: 18. Playing in sand: 10. Sitting: 8. I approached my mile walking from the south, so did not assess any parking areas

South San Marine Beach, Starr Creek

Walking north oh Wayside Lodge I saw 15 or so dead Black Turnstone. That was the only species of bird that was dead. Lots of plastic bottles that I picked up.
