Report Details

It was warm today after three days of stormy weather and the sun was peeking out now and then so there were a lot of people on the beaches. We spotted 7 dogs and 7 people, and only counted the vehicles at one access point. We had to use two access points due to the higher water in China Creek. Next time I will wear my rubber boots! We don't see much live bird life on this section of beach, but banded a Parakeet Auklet for COASST. He was a bit of a surprise. The wrack was sparse, mostly small wood with a small piece of plastic or styrofoam here and there, also a few sea palms.
