Report Details

The storms in November carved the beach into canyons and clifts that went up into the foot of the dunes which was where the three sealions were found. Now in December the beach has been smothed out and there is another dead sealion and one in the surf line dying. There are also sealions swimming just past the surf. The survey took five hours as there were 31 dead birds to be identified. Most of the birds had been on the beach for some time with only two fresh birds.
