Total dead birds: 10. Signs of oiling: 1. 2 Cassin Auklet, 2 Common Murre, 5 Rhinocerus Auklet, 1 Glaucous Gull oil on dead bird was very small amount

Unusual concentration. Lots of sand dollars - some dead and some still alive

Dune modification/removal. Dune modification for Snowy Plover habitat restoration

Flat beach - 4 degree slope. Worm tracks in wet sand. Many shells, sand dollars and small rocks. 12 dead crab and 20 crab molts. Very light biological wrackline: a little seagrass, Phyllospadix, a small amount of Hydrozoa and algae (Mazzaella splendens, Porphyra and Lessoniopsis), snail egg cases, one "jellyfish". Two skate egg cases on the dry sand. Snowy Plover Nesting Area roped off and signed.
