This is the section of Mile 16 in Sam Boardman Park I call Spruce Island Viewpoint South that includes Deer Point. Little human behavior can take place here other than trail maintenance. The ocean seemed unusually high with no storms happening, the ocean being relatively calm, and high tide yet to take place about 11:30 am. No beach areas were observed in any the coves. No problems either.

Some erosion.

Not a lot of garbage on the the Natural trail, but the Arch Rock trail did have quite a few plastic bottles and pop cans.
